On May 26, 2025, the Rivers and Forests Alliance (RAFA), EM Research Organization Inc., and Instituto Andrea Jiménez came together for a joyful day of hands-on environmental action at the San José–based school. Students, parents, and staff worked side by side to create nearly 800 mud balls infused with beneficial microorganisms, transforming learning into real-world impact through fun and creativity.
The project came full circle on June 16, when students released the eco-spheres into a nearby stream to help improve water quality. That same day, the school community planted almost two dozen fruit trees at the Institute, creating lasting benefits for students and staff while reinforcing the importance of caring for nature.
